Becky is an intellectual property litigator with over twenty years experience in fast paced, complex litigation, including trademark, copyright and patent infringement; trade secret matters; and related commercial tort and antitrust claims.
In addition to federal and state courts, Becky has worked on behalf of her clients with the FTC, ITC and FDA. She has both enforced and defended intellectual property claims, achieving several million-dollar and multi-million-dollar awards for her clients, as well as executing successful settlements and injunctions against infringing parties.
Becky's clients have included Fortune 500 companies as well as small cap firms across diverse industries, including consumer products such as toys, furniture, nutraceuticals, apparel and cosmetics; computer hardware and software, specifically LCD displays, Internet connectivity, connectors, and decision-making software; travel and entertainment; and electronic publishing and distribution. She has assisted her clients with pivotal, strategic litigation to protect trade secrets and patents central to their operations.
Becky is frequently profiled and quoted in popular media, and has served as a guest lecturer at Cal State Fullerton. She was a founding partner of O'Connor, Christensen and McLaughlin (Irvine, CA), which merged with The Eclipse Group LLP in 2006.
