Carlini Lawsuit  Patent-Tying Decision Changes Antitrust Landscape, by Edward O'Connor

On behalf of Five Continent Enterprise, on October 17, 2006, O’Connor Christensen & McLaughlin, the Trial Division of The Eclipse Group LLP, filed suit in U.S. District Court in Santa Ana, California against Geni, Inc. (dba Geni Herbs), Verdure Sciences, Inc., Ajay Patel, and Soft Gel Technology, Inc. The suit alleges false advertisement, unfair competition and fraud and seeks injunctive relief, damages and cancellation of trademark registration.
