As Director of Operations for The Eclipse Group, Liza oversees all aspects of the firm’s daily operations, to include management of the accounting, IT and marketing functionalities; personnel management, staffing and recruitment; as well as maintaining the high standards of quality and efficiency of services offered by this national intellectual property-focused law firm.
Liza began her career at The Eclipse Group in July of 2003, serving in various roles within the organization such as Office Manager, Human Resources Manager and Accounting Administrator. In acknowledgement of her dedication and tenure, and following the firm’s sizable increase from twelve to twenty-five attorneys over an eighteen month period, Liza was promoted to her current position in January 2010.
Liza’s prior experience includes working in the field of Product Liability and Failure Analysis in Metallurgy for a material engineering consulting company, as well as working as a reporter for various newspapers in Florida and California, including The Orange County Register in California. Liza received a bachelor of science in Journalism from the University of Florida in 2002, and she continues to educate herself on the most current operational matters in order to further her ability to add value to the firm’s services.
