Kevin Flynn recently participated in ProductCampRTP, self-described as “a collaborative unconference about Product Management and Marketing.” In the spirit of an unconference, participants listened to brief abstracts of presentations from those wanting to run a conference session. Participants then voted to have Kevin give a presentation on Identifying and Protecting Your Competitive Edge. The attendees, who were product launch managers and marketing professionals rather than patent attorneys, found the material presented by Kevin to be sufficiently engaging that his presentation was voted one of the best of the conference.
