Jody joined The Eclipse Group’s Chicago office in July 2009 and has over fifteen years of experience within a variety of legal disciplines.
Originally from Wisconsin, Jody attended broadcasting school in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and later decided to move to Chicago to explore the legal field. She began her career as a file clerk in Chicago-based personal injury law firm, Benjamin & Shapiro.
Jody has supported multiple attorneys within a broad range of practice specialties throughout her career, including estate planning while at Friedman & Kovan; personal injury and medical malpractice at Pappas, Power & Marcus; Intellectual property prosecution and litigation at Allegretti & Witcoff / Banner & Witcoff / McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff; and labor and employment law while with Klein Dub & Holleb - all Chicago-based law firms.
Jody has completed various legal assistant programs through both Roosevelt University and the John Marshall School of Law in Chicago, and she continues to stay current with business and legal trends in her areas of expertise.
